Ruaka has grown faster than almost anywhere else in Nairobi, and the meat supply has not entirely kept up. There are plenty of places to buy a kilo of something near Two Rivers and along the Limuru Road corridor - and very few where you can specify how it is cut. That gap is the reason our van comes out here.

Getting to us from Ruaka

Ruaka sits north-west of the city along Limuru Road, just past Runda and close to Two Rivers Mall. From City Market we run out via Limuru Road through Muthaiga and Runda, or up Waiyaki Way and across, depending on which is moving. Journey time swings with Limuru Road traffic, which is why we ask for midday orders where possible. To collect instead, we are Stall 55 on the ground floor of City Market, Muindi Mbingu Street, beside Jamia Mosque.
