Butchery Delivery, Not Supermarket Delivery

There is a real difference between having meat delivered and having butchery delivered, and it comes down to one thing: whether anybody cut it for you specifically.

Order from a supermarket app and a picker walks to a chiller cabinet and takes whichever tray is nearest the front. Nobody weighs anything to your requirement, nobody trims anything, and nobody has any idea what you intend to cook. Order from us and a butcher reads your list, takes the cut off a carcass hanging in our own cold room, cuts it to the thickness you asked for, trims it by hand, weighs it, and messages you the exact total before it moves.

That is why our notes box matters more than anything else on the checkout page. "Cut the T-bones 4cm thick." "Butterfly the leg of lamb." "Mince the beef coarse." "Leave the fat on the ribs." "Score the tilapia." All of it is free, all of it is normal, and none of it is available from a chiller cabinet.

How It Works

1. Send your list. Build a basket on this site and tap "Send Order on WhatsApp", message us directly, or call 0707 700511 and read it out. Include your area, address and any cutting instructions.
2. We confirm. We check what is on the counter today, cut and weigh your order, then send you the exact total plus the delivery charge for your area.
3. You pay. M-Pesa on dispatch or on delivery (Buy Goods till 700511), cash on delivery, or card on delivery. Trade accounts are invoiced.
4. We deliver chilled. Packed insulated, delivered direct. Our rider calls from the gate.

Cut-off times and how fast we are

Order before 4:00pm and it goes out the same day. You can send a WhatsApp order at any hour - we read and cut it when we open - so an evening order for the next morning is completely normal, and a lot of our Kilimani and Westlands trade works exactly that way. Close-in areas like the CBD and Parklands are frequently within the hour. Karen and Langata, about 17km out, are best ordered a day ahead.

What it costs

Delivery is a flat fee by area, added to your total the moment you choose your area in the basket. No distance maths, no negotiating, and nothing added at your door.

Not on the list? We very likely still deliver to you - say where you are when you order and we will quote you before dispatch. And if a delivery fee does not make sense for a very small order, we will tell you and suggest collection instead, which is always free. We hold your order chilled at the stall until you arrive.

Keeping the cold chain

Meat is only as good as the temperature it has been held at. Ours goes from our own cold room into insulated packing and out on a direct run, rather than sitting in a warm car on a multi-stop round. Nothing is sold frozen unless you asked us to freeze it. If an order ever reaches you less than properly cold, call us and we replace it - no argument.

What People Order for Delivery

Steaks and roasting joints for the weekend, chicken and mince for the week, ribs and sausages for a braai, whole fish for a Friday, and a bag of raw bones for the dog at KSh 150 a kilo. Households in Runda and Muthaiga take a lot of our Norwegian salmon and fillet; Parklands takes mutton keema and bone-in goat; Lavington and Karen take whole legs of lamb for the garden.
