How Ordering and Delivery Work
You send your list
Build a basket here and send it on WhatsApp, message us directly, or call the stall and read it out. Include cutting instructions.
We confirm
We check availability, cut and weigh your order, then message you the exact total plus the delivery charge for your area.
You pay
M-Pesa on dispatch or on delivery, cash on delivery, or card on delivery. M-Pesa is Buy Goods till 700511. Trade accounts are invoiced.
We deliver chilled
Packed insulated straight from our cold room and delivered direct. Same day if you ordered before 4:00pm.
Delivery Across Nairobi
We deliver every day of the week, 6:30am to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays, from our stall at City Market to homes, offices, restaurants and hotels across Nairobi.
Cut-off times
Order before 4:00pm for same-day delivery. Later orders go out the following morning. You can send a WhatsApp order at any hour - we read and cut it when we open - so an evening order for tomorrow is perfectly normal, and a lot of our Kilimani and Westlands trade works exactly that way.
Nearby areas such as the CBD and Parklands are often with you inside the hour. Karen and Langata are our longest run at around 17km, so a day's notice genuinely helps us get it to you when you want it.
What delivery costs
Delivery is a flat fee by area. No distance calculations, no surprises, and nothing added at your door. Choose your area in the basket and the fee is added to your total automatically.

If your area is not on that list we still very likely deliver to it - tell us where you are when you order and we will quote you before we dispatch. For a very small order, a delivery fee sometimes does not make sense and we will say so and suggest you collect instead, which is always free.
Apartments, estates and gates
Give us the building or estate name, block, house or unit number, and a phone number that will be answered. Our rider calls from the gate or guardhouse and will wait. We are happy to leave an order with a guard, a household manager or a neighbour - just arrange it with us in advance so nobody is guessing.
Keeping it cold
Everything leaves our cold room chilled and insulated and is delivered direct rather than sitting on a round. Meat is not sold to you frozen unless you have asked us to freeze it. If an order ever reaches you less than properly cold, call us and we will replace it.
Collection from the Stall
Collection is always free, and we will hold your order chilled at Stall 55 until you arrive at no charge. This is especially popular with customers who work in town: place your order at lunchtime, collect it on your way home. Tell us roughly what time to expect you. We are at City Market, Ground Floor, Stall 55 Muindi Mbingu St, Nairobi, open every day 6:30am to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays.
Ways to Pay
We confirm the exact total with you first - after the meat is cut and weighed - and then you pay by whichever of these suits you:
- M-Pesa on dispatch - you pay before we send the order. This is the one to choose if you are ordering for someone else or will not be at the delivery point yourself.
- M-Pesa on delivery - pay by M-Pesa when the order reaches you.
- Cash on delivery - pay the rider in cash on arrival.
- Card on delivery - Visa or Mastercard, paid on delivery.

Why there is no card checkout on this site
Because meat is sold by weight and cut to order, the exact figure is not known until it has been cut and weighed. Taking a card payment at the moment you click would mean charging you an estimate and then refunding or re-charging the difference - which is worse for you and slower for everyone. So we cut, weigh, send you the exact total, and you settle by M-Pesa, cash or card. It is how Nairobi already buys meat, and it means you never pay for a weight you did not receive.
Trade Accounts
Restaurants, hotels, schools, canteens, butcheries and caterers can run an account with us: agreed pricing, consistent cut specifications, standing weekly orders and invoiced terms.
