Getting to Stall 55
City Market sits on Muindi Mbingu Street in the heart of the Nairobi CBD, directly beside Jamia Mosque. We are on the ground floor, Stall 55, among the meat counters.
On foot from around town
From Kenyatta Avenue, walk up Muindi Mbingu Street past the flower sellers - the market entrance is on your left. From Moi Avenue, cut through Tubman Road. From Koinange Street or Standard Street it is a two-minute walk. Almost anywhere in the CBD is within ten minutes on foot.
Driving and parking
There is metered street parking on Muindi Mbingu Street and Market Lane. It fills up by mid-morning, so many customers use a nearby parking lot and walk the last block. If you are coming from Westlands or Parklands, come in via Limuru Road and Muranga Road; from Kilimani or Karen, via Valley Road or Uhuru Highway.
