About Our Assorted Chicken Cuts
Assorted cuts is a mixed selection of bone-in chicken pieces - thighs, drumsticks, wings and backs - sold together at the best value per kilo in the poultry section. It is the practical choice for a stew, a curry or a fry when you are feeding a lot of people and you want a bit of everything rather than a single premium cut.
Because it is all bone-in dark and mixed meat, it is forgiving and full of flavour, and the bones enrich whatever you cook it in. Tell us if you want the mix weighted a particular way - more thighs, say, or more leg quarters. For quantity pricing see our bulk supply page.
How to Cook Assorted Chicken Cuts
- Brown the pieces first, then stew or fry them down in a sauce.
- Cook the dark meat through and a little past 74C, where it improves.
- The bones add body - keep them in the pot.
- Great for a big kuku wet fry, a curry, or a tray in the oven.
- Freezes well in meal-sized portions.

Yes, and at no extra charge - it is the whole point of buying from a butcher rather than a chiller cabinet. Tell us the thickness, trim, portion size or preparation you want in the notes when you order, or just describe what you are cooking and let us choose. We butcher whole carcasses at City Market, so the options are real.
Yes, every day. Order before 4:00pm on 0707 700511 for same-day chilled delivery across Nairobi. Delivery is a flat fee by area, from KSh 300 to KSh 1,000 depending on where you are, and it is added to your basket total automatically. See the full fee table.
Three to four days in the coldest part of the fridge, loosely covered so the surface dries rather than sweats. To freeze, portion into meal sizes, press flat, wrap tightly and label. Thaw overnight in the fridge, never on the counter, and do not refreeze thawed raw meat.
